WHO I AM
Michael Burris started MDB Hospitality Services in 2010. Since then he has been continuing to grow the company and provide services to customer's satisfaction. He helps to oversee a team of 4 event planners in the development and execution of both company and client events. He is directly responsible for following client budgets and manages event planners daily, weekly, and monthly event plans.
He helps facilitate weekly event planning meetings detailing needs on monthly calendar events. He provides ongoing training with his event planning team regarding best practices on advertising, marketing, sales, networking, and promotional strategies.
He attends and participates with his event planning team in all trade show as well as networking events. He's worked with all vendors necessary if needed to facilitate and execute both on and off premise parties or events.
He also offers consulting services in fields of hospitality management such as:
- Implementation of new processes for restaurant owners and operators.
- Training in alcohol awareness and food safety practices.
- Strategy and council in working with vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Develop detailed training manuals for utilization in a company's business.
- Advises in best practices and techniques in working with hospitality and kitchen staffing.
- Offers assistance in keeping within budget guidelines and how to increase profit margins.
